Shipping Policy

Thanks for choosing NexaFit! We want to ensure your products are delivered safely and efficiently. Please review our Shipping and Delivery Policy below.

1. Delivery Areas

NexaFit delivers to all destinations throughout South Africa and the purchase price includes the delivery fees.

International deliveries are addressed in a separate clause below.

2. Delivery Timeframes

Delivery times provided by NexaFit are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Typical delivery estimates in South Africa are 7–10 business days for Premium In-Home Delivery. Additional transit time may apply to remote or outlying areas.

NexaFit shall not be liable for delays caused by weather events, labour disputes, governmental actions, force majeure events, or circumstances beyond NexaFit's reasonable control.

3. Delivery Requirements

The customer is responsible for ensuring:

  • Accurate delivery information is provided.
  • Safe and reasonable access exists to the delivery location.
  • Adequate personnel are available if required.
  • Building management, estate security, or access permissions have been arranged prior to delivery.

Additional costs resulting from restricted access, failed delivery attempts, stair carries, crane requirements, special handling, storage, or redelivery may be charged to the customer.

4. Inspection Upon Delivery

The customer must inspect the Product upon delivery.

Any visible transport damage, shortages, incorrect items, or packaging damage should be noted on the delivery documentation and reported to NexaFit within 48 hours of delivery with proof of the transport damage.

Failure to report visible damage within this period may affect NexaFit's ability to recover losses from the transport provider and may impact related claims.

5. International Orders

NexaFit can process purchase payments from any international location. The purchase price, however, does not include any international shipping costs outside South Africa. This will be quoted separately in communication with the customer.

For international orders, unless otherwise agreed in writing, the following are the responsibility of the customer:

  • Import duties, taxes, customs charges, brokerage fees, and inspection fees.
  • Local governmental regulations.
  • Customs clearance delays.

NexaFit shall not be responsible for costs arising from refusal of entry, customs delays, customs seizure, import restrictions, or failure by the customer to comply with local import requirements.

6. Failed Deliveries

The courier company will coordinate the delivery date and time with the customer. If delivery cannot be completed due to circumstances attributable to the customer, including:

  • Not honoring the delivery date and time;
  • Incorrect address details;
  • Failure to accept delivery;
  • Failure to provide access;
  • Failure to arrange required permits or approvals;

NexaFit reserves the right to charge reasonable storage, handling, redelivery, and transport costs to the customer.

7. Delivery and Installation Services

Where installation services are included or purchased separately, the customer must ensure the installation area is suitable, safe, and ready for installation.

NexaFit may suspend or postpone installation where site conditions present safety risks, insufficient access, or other circumstances that may damage the Product or property.

Additional installation visits may incur additional charges.

8. Force Majeure

NexaFit shall not be liable for delays, losses, or failures in performance arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, war, civil unrest, transport disruptions, labour disputes, supplier shortages, government actions, pandemics, or utility failures.

9. Delivery Acceptance

Signing a proof of delivery, electronic acceptance, or accepting possession of the Product shall constitute confirmation that the Product was delivered, subject to any damage or shortages noted at the time of delivery.
